Who we are:
When the Archbishop of Canterbury visited our church in 2001, he described us as being "rooted, restless and ready to grow."
That says a lot about who we are.
We
are a community firmly placed in the Christian tradition as expressed
in the Episcopal Church. At the same time, we are a community of
seekers, coming from a variety of traditions and denominations, trying
to figure out what it means to follow Jesus in the world today. We
gather at The Church of the Holy Spirit because it is a place where we
can ask our questions and explore the meaning of faith in our lives. It
is a place where we can teach our children, through word and action. It
is a place that provides ways to share with those in need. We may look
well established to some, but we are a work in progress, and we hope
you'll join us on the journey.
