The CHS Connections Ministry combines the welcoming of new members and visitors throughout the year,  with the connecting and reconnecting of current members to each other.  The connections are coordinated by The Rev. David Lucey and include:

Welcome Café—Sunday mornings immediately following the 9 a.m. service (generally about 10 a.m.), the Armour Room on the main floor becomes a connection center where we offer coffee, munchies, and a place to be with new and long term friends.  On a rotating basis there will be displays and representatives from the various ministries in the parish to help you find new ways to connect.  Every week there will be a chance to hang out and get to know the great people who are a vital part of this church.

Life@CHS and (the Episcopal Church)—During the year there will be evening times scheduled for getting acquainted with life here at CHS and with life in the Episcopal Church (such as Episcopalian 101—for all the questions you have and have forgotten to ask.)

CHS Socials are scheduled during the year for fun and social interaction with the clergy, lay members of the leadership, and parishioners.  These events include evenings at the Rectory with Jay Sidebotham and Frances Murchison and at St. Anne’s House with David and Katherine Lucey.

CHS Connections Committee—If  you feel called to the ministry of helping people, new and long time members, get better connected to the life of CHS, consider working with the CHS Connections Committee.

Greeters—Greeters have the vital ministry in serving as the first contacts for people and providing welcome to all who walk through our doors on Sunday mornings.  If you have a heart for hospitality, consider this ministry to the parish.  It is open to ministers of all ages.
