Children:
Church School

From September through May our teaching teams joyously offer
programs to help our children grow spiritually. Our goal is to deepen
our children’s relationship to God and Christ by studying scripture,
learning about our church heritage and identifying ways we become
disciples in the community. At the same time, our teachers offer a
fun-filled experience through crafts and hands-on activities.
Children’s Chapel
for ages 3 through 3rd grade is offered during the first portion of the
9 a.m. service. The children are brought into the nave to sit with
their parents for Communion and the remainder of the service.
Church School classes are offered at 10 a.m. for children ages 3 through 6th grade. Church School classes are in session until 10:50 a.m.

Teachers at CHS
are the life blood of our Church School. We encourage parishioners to
volunteer to teach Church School or Children’s Chapel. Teaching
provides a great opportunity to show support for your child, build
friendships with other teachers and learn more about our faith. Plus
there are many other ways to volunteer to support the program. A full
curriculum is provided for every grade and lesson.
