Children:
F.R.O.G.s

F.R.O.G.s is a learning and fellowship opportunity for all 5th and
6th graders at CHS. We call it F.R.O.G.s because it is a new Christian
expression that means to “Fully Rely on God”.
It seems that
5th and 6th graders these days do not really feel like kids and yet are
not part of our teen programming, so we designed a Friday afternoon
just for them to come hang at church just like their older friends and
yet still participate in activities appropriate for their age.
Kids come
once a month to church on a Friday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. During
our two hours together they play some games, do an outreach project,
eat pizza, and get to know each other better. Of course we will tie
this all in to our lives as Christians, but in a relaxed and easy way.
All 5th and 6th graders are welcome to bring friends to make
them feel comfortable. The average monthly attendance is 20 – 25
kids. Activities range from scavenger hunts to outreach projects, plus
a pizza dinner and dessert. Contact Debbie Stockert for more
